This tea is grown in an ecological area southwest of Sichuan province. The tea garden is 1,200 feet above sea level and was grown through seeds first planted in the 1960s. The grandson now tenderly looks after the same tea trees. No pesticides or artificial fertilizers are used because the tea trees have adapted to the environment and are naturally resilient to harmful pests and plant diseases.
